1. 사람들은 논리적이지 않고 이성적이지도 않다. 게다가 자기 중심적이다. 그래도 그들을 사랑하라.
People are illogical,unreasonable, and self-centered. 
Love them anyway

2. 착한 일을 하면 사람들은 다른 속셈이 있을 것이라고 의심할 것이다. 그래도 착한 일을 하라. 
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. 
Do good anyway.

3. 당신이 성공하면 가짜 친구들과 진정한 적들을 얻게 될 것이다. 그래도 어쨋든 성공하라.
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.

4. 오늘 행한 착한 일은 내일이면 잊혀질 것이다. 그래도 어쨋든 착한 일을 하라. 
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

5. 정직함과 솔직함이 당신을 쉽게 공격당하게 할 것이다. 그래도
어쨌든 정직하고 솔직하라.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.

6. 큰 뜻을 가진 위대한 사람들은 소인배들에 의해 무너질 수도 있다. 그래도 어쨌든 크게 생각하라.
The biggest people with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest people with the smallest minds.

7. 사람들은 약자에게 호의를 베풀지만 강자를 따른다. 그래도 어쨌든 소수의 약자들을 위해 분투하라. 
People favor underdogs but follow topdogs.
Fight for a few underdogs anyway.

8. 몇 년 간 공들여 쌓은 탑이 하룻아침에 무너질 수도 있다. 그래도 어쨌든 만들어라.
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.

9. 물에 빠진 사람을 구해주면 보따리 내놓으라고 덤빌 수도 있다. 그래도 어쨌든 도와라.
People really need help but may attack you if you help them. 
Help people anyway.

10. 최선을 다해 헌신해도 칭찬 대신 경을 칠 수도 있다. 그래도 어쨌든 최고로 헌신하라 
Give the world the best you have, and you may get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world your best anyway.
